Mission – FC Premier is for the serious high school male player who would like to compete at the Regional and National level and who has intentions to continue his play past high school and compete at the college level. The FC Premier program’s mission in addition to developing both technical and tactical skills, is to ready and work with the high school player and their family in all aspects of the college selection process during their high school experience and specifically during their Junior & Senior years.
Successes – While FC Premier has had many successes including a National Championship, our current u23 team’s players have had great success with their college selection process and nearly 20 players are starters on their college teams. FC Premier always has significant interest by college coaches at the Division I, II and III levels. Our "Alumni" are currently playing for numerous DI, DII and DIII colleges including
* Alvernia College
* Arcadia University
* Eastern University

Background – For many years there has been a need for an area program to address the needs of the serious player once they have entered their High School years. It has been our experience that the traditional club program does not meet the needs of the serious player after the U15 Fall season. While many club teams try to continue with good intentions they either fold soon after leaving the player stranded searching for a place to play or do not have the experience and structure to address the college process. The FC Premier program was established in 1994 to address these needs. It was formed out of the Upper Bucks Select and the original Valley Soccer Assn. now the Perk Valley Soccer Club. It was modeled after the success that FC Delco was having after leaving Delco Select in 1991.
FC Premier has had great success in establishing “Premier” level training by ODP and college level coaches within a focused program to get these players to the next level. FC Premier is only meant for the serious player who has the intention and commitment it will take to compete at this next level.
The 2009/10 Plan – High school teams will include at least a u18, u17, u16 and u15 team. Both the u17 and u16 team will compete in indoor/outdoor cups and will apply for the prestigious Colonial regional league. This will be complemented with playing in 5 Spring/Summer showcase tournaments.
The u15 will train during the winter months and prepare for the MAPS spring league. It will play indoor and outdoor US Club cups. It will also target 5 to 6 regional tournaments. These tournaments will set the baseline to establish this team as a regional contender. Come the Fall 2009, it is expected each player will play at the High School Varsity level. Following the High School season, this team will enter the Lehigh Valley 4 game league which will qualify this team for both indoor and outdoor state cups and application to the Colonial league.
Training - Team train indoors during the winter 1 or 2 days depending on facility availability. Jeff Ykoruk, the Head Coach at Ursinus will be running these training sessions. Weather permitting, outdoor training will be scheduled. weekends.
Management Staff – The Director of Coaching for FC Premier is Jeff Ykoruk. Jeff is both an ODP and College coach.
Costs – Customary expenses incurred by the player will include club registration, uniform, tournament/league fee and a monthly training fee. The FC Premier management staff attempts to run the program in a fiscally responsible manner. While other premier level clubs are traveling the country going from coast to coast in search of tournaments, it has been our experience that most players attend college in the northeast and mid-Atlantic area. As a result, most of our targeted college showcase tournaments and associated travel is within this area, greatly reducing cost. Travel to events such as National Championships may require more extensive travel.
